Other Voices is a free, full-text publication distributed solely through this website at the University of Pennsylvania. In keeping with our desire to reach as many individuals as possible, we do not sell subscriptions and have no plans to do so in the future. We stand firmly against the widespread trend among publishers to inflate journal subscription rates. We are part of an alternative publishing paradigm in which scholars and other intellectuals can communicate directly with their peers through a freely accessible public media, while simultaneously creating a wider, and more international, readership.
