. . . I commuted some obscure grains Lacan planted in the 70s, to sustain an alternative, matrixial borderspace. "One must see" he claims, "the radical difference of that which happens on the other side, (when) starting with the woman." (10) From the woman's side, a sexual rapport - not organ, not essence, but a link, a relation, a rapport - could have been elaborated (11); but since jouissance is phallic, since it concerns an organ and not a rapport, since the woman does not report on a rapport that would be feminine-Other if/where it does occur (12), "there is no sexual rapport," (13) which signifies: a "deficit in knowledge." (14) Yet, the woman, who for these reasons "does not exist and does not signify anything," (15) is not nothing, but a "Not all," since she does have, "in relation to what the phallic function designates in terms of jouissance, a supplementary jouissance" and "This business of the sexual rapport, if there is a side from which a light can be shed on it, it's precisely from the ladies' side, inasmuch as it is the elaboration of the not-all that will lead to clearing the path." (16) Something can come to light from/for this 'woman' not-all . . .
